This is an installation,
combining different kinds of my art. There are pictures on the walls - my
illustrations from the book "The Christmas Pearl", showing all
possible real fishes and sea-animals. Besides that, there are soft foam rubber
sculptures of fantastical fairy-tale sea monsters (mermaids, tritons etc.)
"swimming" through the space. But the central point is a real small
sea of blue and green plastic balls, where children themselves can
"swim" and "dive" and have fun.
Exhibited
as a part of the exhibition "Fantastical garden and Children's own
reading room" in Kajaani art museum.
