Fairy tale oak tree
(together with Martin Hackenberg)

A huge oak tree (about 5 m high) built in-doors to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the great Russian poet Pushkin. It can be used for different plays and performances with children, has a small playroom inside of the trunk, a swing on a branch etc. About 20 heroes from Pushkin's fairy tales and verses (Baba-Jaga, Mermaid, Golden Fish etc.) are hidden inside the trunk, but can come out one by one with help of simple mechanisms. Address: Russian kindergarten Kalinka, Kaarelankuja 4, 00430 Helsinki, Finland
